Finally after a long break for Christmas and New Year (happy new year to all) work has recommenced on the house. Apart from a lot more internal framing, Andy and Chris have wrapped up the house like a christmas present so now we have a lovely blue and green house (refer following photos.) Roofer has started and the brickie is set to return soon. Internal rough in for electrical and plumbing will start next month

The west wall with its very attractive blue and green combination of wall sarking. The green is foilboard (sarking and 20mm polystrene) which is where the brick walls will go, and the blue is the sarking only where there will be either rendered polystyrene or vertical boarding over polystyrene.
The roofer has also started and the first of the fascia has gone up (above the green foilboard walls)

The back of the house is slowing being closed in with the installation of the blue sarking. Bricks have been delivered for the commencement of the installation of the external brick veneer

The building was started to be enclosed pre Christmas with the installation of the foilboard insulation and sarking to the areas of the proposed brickwork - this is the west facing wall. 80% of the aluminium windows have also been installed.
